The Telethon Institute of Child Health and Research

Headed by 2003 Australian of the Year, Professor Fiona Stanley, the Institute's success stems from its INNOVATIVE approach in bringing together researchers from different fields of science to tackle major issues in child health and wellbeing.

The Telethon Institute for Child Health Research is committed to ensuring that the benefits of its research are translated into real therapies and policies to improve the health and well being of children. Since its establishment in 1990, researchers at the Institute have published more than 1630 scientific papers and advocated on behalf of children and families.
