Joey Tan

Product Development Manager

Joey Tan has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Mathematics and Computer Science, Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada.

Previously Product Development Manager for KDR, Joey transferred to The Online Workshop team in order to focus his strengths full time to the development of SmartAsset.

Prior to joining KDR, Joey was employed by an Australian competitor in the Asset Management market as Systems/Programmer Analyst. His duties there included Research and Development, design, enhancements and programming for that company's Plant Maintenance product. He has been carrying out similar duties with KDR's FMMS product.

Career Achievements & Highlights:

1. Project manager for development, customization and enhancement of former employer's product for implementation at a major AMPOL Refinery. The value of this contract was $0.5m.

2. Development of interface libraries between FMMS and third party products including SAP and Mincom as installed at BHP Petroleum, Mobil and Shell Coal.

3. Successfully managed major development project for enhancements required to FMMS for implementation at Alcoa (Australia) Limited at their West Australian operations. The value of this contract was $1.5m.
